About The Author

I’m the main author at How I WP, a WordPress tutorial website with how to articles to help you use WordPress better. I hope to cover all types of help articles that will be clear and help you do more important things with WordPress.

I’ve been working with WordPress since 2010 when I switched over from straight HTML + CSS, that I’d been working with since the mid-1990s, to design my personal portfolio web page in WordPress. I’ve been a huge WordPress fan since then and I design solely in WordPress. My main agency is Exprance where I build custom WordPress website projects and my secondary project is Loclweb which focuses on affordable websites for local businesses.

I was also a regular volunteer at Sacramento WordCamp pre-Covid and even presented and volunteered at the 2019 Sacramento WordCamp. During the 2018 WordCamp I primarily worked in the happiness bar helping new WordPress users to more with their WordPress website.

WordPress is an amazing tool and I like to share how to do more with it whether one-on-one or through blog posts.
